How to show all icons in system tray in windows 11
In Windows 11, the “Show all icons in system tray” option allows you to control which icons appear in the system tray (also called the notification area).
There are two ways to do that, and this article explains both methods so that you can make the change as per your requirements. However, the first method allows you to show all icons at once, while the second is about showing specific icons.
1. How to always show all the icons in System Tray using Windows Settings
A. Open Taskbar Settings:
Right-click on an empty space on the taskbar. Select “Taskbar settings”.
B. Access System Tray Options:
Scroll down to the “Notification area” section.
Click on “Turn system icons on or off” to control built-in Windows icons (like Volume, Network, Power, etc.).
Click on “Select which icons appear on the taskbar” to manage third-party app icons.
C. Show All Icons in the System Tray:
Under “Select which icons appear on the taskbar“, toggle “Always show all icons in the notification area” to ON.
This will display all hidden icons in the system tray.
Alternatively, you can manually toggle individual app icons to “On” or “Off” as needed.
